About the MedTech CONNECT portal
The MedTech CONNECT on-line collaboration portal is a key component of the MedTech Navigator programme delivered by Health Enterprise East.
Supported by a grant from the European Regional Development Fund, the MedTech Navigator programme aims to facilitate knowledge exchange between industry, the NHS and academia to support the development of innovative products and services that meet the needs of patients. In addition to the Connect collaboration tool, the programme delivers a series of themed unmet needs workshops with key opinion leaders in the field, a series of related white papers mapping the industry and health economic landscape of each theme together with the opportunity to win an Innovation Grant worth up to £7,500 to collaborate with an eligible knowledge provider of your choice.
The MedTech CONNECT Portal supports innovative medicaI technology companies to identify relevant clinicians, scientists and researchers to participate in collaborative R&D projects. The MedTech CONNECT portal will speed up the process of clinical engagement by only approaching NHS staff who have indicated a willingness to collaborate in the early stages of product development which is relevant to their field of expertise.
